Flintshire Neighbourhood Watch wishes to raise awareness of houses, flats, shops and commercial buildings being rented or leased to be converted into working drugs factories and for the cultivation of cannabis in North Wales. Dangerous situations are created as the new occupants usually by-pass the electricity and/or the gas system. Damage is caused to the property with the installation of industrial ventilation, heating and lighting. Neil Gallagher North Wales Fire and Rescue service says “…We have highlighted the existence of this type of premises to our operational crews throughout North Wales.
